You need emergency tarping, a temporary waterproof covering that prevents additional interior damage while you arrange permanent repairs.

How Emergency Tarping Works
We install heavy-duty UV-resistant tarps secured with 2x4 battens screwed into the roof deck. This creates a waterproof covering over the damaged area that can withstand moderate winds and rain for 30-90 days while permanent repairs are scheduled.
A proper tarp job extends at least 4 feet past the damaged area in all directions. Quick 'throw a tarp over it' approaches fail in the first wind gust. Professional tarping is engineered to last.
Emergency Tarping Cost
$300-$800 depending on the size of the damaged area and accessibility. Some insurance policies cover emergency tarping as a separate line item from the permanent repair, so keep your receipt.
