The South Central Texas Regional Certification Agency (SCTRCA) has certified Legacy Home Improvements as a Small Business Enterprise (SBE), Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and African American Business Enterprise (AABE). The certification, number 226100877, covers roofing contractor work under NAICS 238160 and runs through October 31, 2030.
What the Certification Means
SCTRCA certifies small and minority owned businesses for public agencies across the region, including the City of San Antonio and Bexar County. Many public projects set participation goals for certified firms. A general contractor bidding a city or county job can now count Legacy's roofing scope toward those goals, and agencies can hire a certified local roofer directly.
Built on the Work Already Done
The certification follows San Antonio ISD's award of a five-year maintenance contract covering 80+ campuses, and Legacy's standing as the first roofing company in San Antonio to earn Premier status in the City's Contractor Connect program. We have been on roofs in this city since 1999, with more than 5,000 projects completed.
